Duct Cleaning

© 2011 Air Design, Inc.

It may be time to have your air duct system cleaned if you answer "yes" to any of the following:

  • Are there smokers in your home?
  • Do you smell stale lingering smoke odors?
  • Does anyone in your family suffer from allergies?
  • Does anyone in your family suffer from headaches, nasal congestion, or other sinus problems at night or in the morning?
  • Does your family have pets?

Our HEPA-AIRE Duct Cleaning System performs state-of-the-art source removal duct cleaning and is the most advanced source removal equipment available. This high tech system enables our technicians to reach and thoroughly clean your entire duct system with minimal noise and disruption.

The contaminants build up inside the ductwork over time and can help make your duct system an ideal breeding ground for mold spores, bacteria, fungus, mildew, and other microbes. The removal of contaminants from the entire HVAC system is recognized by industry experts as the most effective way to eliminate air duct pollutants. This is referred to as the "source removal" method of duct cleaning.

Our technicians are thoroughly trained to provide the highest quality duct cleaning service available.

  • National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) certified specialists
  • State-of-the-art HEPA-AIRE Duct Cleaning System
  • Most advanced source removal equipment available
  • Enables technicians to reach and thoroughly clean entire duct system with minimal noise and disruption

Energy Conserving Tips

© 2011 Air Design, Inc.

Your air conditioning and heating system uses more energy, and drains more energy dollars, than any other appliance in your home — typically 45% or more. Here are some tips on how you can make your system more efficient:

  • When choosing equipment, ask about the SEER Rating (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating), which rates the efficiency during the cooling season. The higher the Rating, the more energy-efficient the equipment.
  • Properly adjust your thermostat. Set your thermostat as high as comfortably possible in the summer (recommend 74 degrees), and at the lowest setting you are comfortable with in the winter (recommend 68 degrees).
  • The smaller the difference between the indoor and outdoor temperatures, the lower your overall utility bill will be.
  • Clean your condenser coil (outdoor unit). Often the condenser coil becomes restricted by dirt, lint, paper, grass, leaves, or other debris. It needs to be kept clean to operate at peak efficeincy.
  • Routine preventative maintenance will assist in keeping your total system clean.
  • Keep you air filters clean. There are several types of filters on the market — we recommend using pre-pleat filters. Change them on a routine basis (usually once a month) to allow your unit to run more efficiently.
  • Use kitchen, bath, and other ventilating fans wisely. In just one hour, these fans can pull an entire household full of warm or cooled air. Turn fans off as soon as they have done their job.
  • Consider ceiling fans, to spread cooled air more effectively throughout your home — without greatly increasing your power usage.
  • Design/build, negotiated, and plan and specification contracting — involving industrial, commercial, and institutional mechanical, pollutant storage, and plumbing projects
  • Equipment and fixture replacement, and design/build projects for residential retrofit and new construction
  • Indoor Air Quality (duct cleaning) and preventive maintenance services for residential, commercial, and industrial customers
  • Sheet metal fabrication/installation
  • Marine HVACR – vessels up to 400’ (Corps of Engineer and Coast Guard Standards)
  • Chilled/hot water piping, steam piping, natural gas piping, LP gas piping, hazardous fuel piping, storage tanks, cooling tower & boiler installation and piping, Geothermal systems, backflow preventors
  • Med Gas Piping (Certified – Mechanical and Dealership)
  • Site Utility Work
  • AutoCAD Capabilities
